European Journal of Psychoanalysis

The journal is not the official organ of any particular school.  Material is chosen solely in terms of quality, originality and relevance to international debates in psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic fields.  Similarly, significant, hard-to-pigeonhole authors and works falling outside any particular trend will also be presented. It contains a Russian Edition and an Italian Section


Sitegeist is a biennial peer-reviewed journal. It has an editorial panel consisting of Barry Watt, Nic Bayley, Robert Weiss, Dorothée Bonnigal-Katz and Val Parks and an advisory panel drawn from established figures in the fields of psychoanalysis and philosophy and members and non-members of the Site.

The Sitegeist archive will be free. Articles can be printed, and the entire journal is fully searchable.

International Journal of Psychoanalysis

The International Journal of Psychoanalysis was founded by Ernest Jones with the collaboration of Sigmund Freud in 1920.

It also incorporates the International Review of Psycho-Analysis, founded in 1974 by Joseph Sandler. For the last 99 years the IJP has enjoyed its role as the main international vehicle for communication about psychoanalysis, enjoying a wide international readership from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America and Latin America. Past Editors of The International Journal of Psychoanalysis have included Ernest Jones, James Strachey, Joseph Sandler, and David Tuckett.

The International Journal of Psychoanalysis is a fully peer reviewed journal published six times a year. The IJP is the main international vehicle for communication about psychoanalysis, with global reach and readership.

International Journal of Psychology and Psychoanalysis

Open access peer-reviewed journal that publishes work that pertinent to cognition, emotions, brain functioning, interpersonal relationships and unconscious mind. The Journal is also focussed to publish on counseling and other inductive techniques applied in the treatment of mental health illnesses.

Journal publishes original empirical research papers, mini-reviews, comments, and full-length reviews in psychiatry, psychobiology, and also encouraging submissions from a broad spectrum of psychological interventions. All articles published in the journal are subject to a stringent peer review process, encouraging authors to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

The Lacan Circle of Australia 

The LCA is an associate group of the New Lacanian School of the World Association of Psychoanalysis.

We provide training, teaching and research in the field of Lacanian psychoanalysis.

Philadelphia Lacan Study Group

The Philadelphia Lacan Study Group & Seminar has been meeting since 1990 as an open seminar devoted to the discussion of Freud’s and Lacan’s main ideas and their application to broader clinical, social, and cultural issues.

They organise lectures with renowned international scholars and psychoanalysts. They also coordinate several cartels and reading groups which engage theoretical problems, clinical presentations, and psychoanalytic cultural critique.

American Psychoanalytic Association (APA)

The American Psychoanalytic Association, valuing the development and complexity of the mind and human relationships, seeks to advance clinical, scholarly, scientific and social progress.


APPI is the largest group of psychoanalytic clinicians in Ireland who share an interest in psychoanalysis and drawn to the work of Freud and Lacan. Freudian Lacanian psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy remains our focus to this day.

IPA International New Groups

The aim of these committees is to expand the profession both within current and new geographic areas while maintaining high professional standards.

NCP New Center for Psychoanalysis

Los Angeles nonprofit membership organization and training center. They provide a variety of postgraduate programs in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy for licensed mental health professionals and distinguished academics.

European Psychoanalytical Federation 

The task of the European Psychoanalytical Federation is to function as an arena of exchange and an intellectual forum for all psychoanalytical societies of Europe. The European Psycho-Analytical Federation (EPF), the scientific federation of all European psychoanalytical Societies and Study Groups belonging to the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), has been in existence for more than 50 years. Today, it incorporates around 5.000 members coming from 36 Societies in 25 European countries in which more than 20 languages are spoken.  (Belgium)





  AGIP offers a UKCP recognised training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. They are based in Archway, North London. They also provide a highly regarded Psychotherapy Service, and offer consultations, assessments and referrals for ongoing Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
